Why do I want to be your wedding photographer?
Because it's the most fulfilling and rewarding genre of photography there is. Bar none. No other field of photography challenges like weddings - the seat of your pants, think on your feet, adapt to change and circumstance style while still demonstrating extreme artistic and technical ability. The skill requirement under pressure is immense and has nothing to do with having a 'fancy camera'. I wish it did, life would be easier. I still get jitterbugs even now, yet strive for my very best all the time and am never complacent.
Because quality photography has long-term and unexpected benefits. Striving to freeze forever those brain searing moments that so encapsulate the day such that thirty years hence will, for one split second, throw you back in time. Nothing preserves like a still image, and absolutely nothing is as irreplaceable.
Because I greatly enjoy photographing weddings and am honoured when couples believe I am the photographer for their wedding. I hope you find a photographer whose photography you genuinely love. I hope that photographer is me.
